Is my sister's loser husband entitled to our LLC if they divorce?
my sister just recently married a winner. not.
my two sisters and i inherited rental properties from our parents which is formed under an LLC.
My sisters new husband is not a winner, he is a major loser, a shmuck who is constantly out to make a buck on your granny. yes, your granny -- the guy has no morals. It'll be some time before my sister figures this out. I have stories if yall want to hear them. Anyway...
question is: how can myself and my other sister protect ourselves in case they divorce? I know that she has put her 33.3% share of thw LLC in a Trust naming her children. But can he still get his grubby paws on the LLC? my share or other sisters share?
