Setting up a SDIRA and LLC in TN

I am new to this so any advice would be helpful.

I have set up a Self-Directed IRA and funded it through Advanta in Atlanta. I am required to set up an LLC in order to fund the LLC to make purchases for the IRA. Originally I was setting up a single member LLC with the IRA as the member. However, I also have cash outside of the IRA in which to invest. I wanted to set up a single LLC so both the IRA and I can fund and invest through the LLC almost like partners. I was told to set up a multi-member manager managed LLC. Are there any obvious concerns about this setup?

I am scheduled to set up the LLC through an attorney in the next few days.
