Update on entity creation CRA rules

Happy Friday BP members!

1) A few months ago, I read that CRA in Canada were in the process of changing their position on Partnerships with limited liability for Canadians investing in real estate in the US.  Just wondering if any fellow Canadians have any updated news on this matter.

2) Also, I would like to know if anyone has dealt with attorneys and CPA's in my home town of Ottawa that deal with cross-border investing and entity creation.  Just looking for good and vetted referrals.  I want to do this the right way and avoid being in trouble with the Canadian and US Tax man.
