RE Salesagent Education and IRS RE Professional Requirement

I  bought 3 rental properties in 2017 (partly managed by a PM) and continued to manage 1 that I've owned since 2014 (no PM). I also spent 270 hours of education to get my Texas Real Estate License. Do those 270 education hours count towards the 750 hours IRS requirement for Real Estate Professional status?  Thanks! Cecile
