Change of ownership on deed to homestead

My husband and I own our home, debt free, and are considering changing the ownership to myself as sole owner.  His health is slowly declining, and even though I would own the property on his demise, we wish to make the change now.  We live in Texas and are wondering if a Warranty Deed or a Quit Claim deed would best serve our purpose.
