Don't know if she asked the right question... solo 401 k
My wife and I formed a two member LLC over a year ago. She also works full time at a nice job that she has been at for over 10 years. Her 403b is over 400k. Last year she inquired as to if it is allowed to move all or part of her 403b to a "self directed IRA". She was told yes. Step ahead to today...I'm now looking into starting a Solo 401k with the LLC. Before we proceed she wanted to verify that everything was sill copacetic. She asked if she "could take all or part of her 403b and move it to a self directed IRA". She was told NO. Maybe we are not articulating this properly or maybe things changed. Before we take another stab at it I thought I'd send this out to the GURUS. Help me speak geek!
