private money lending

Hello everybody,
Just joined this incredible group.
I wanted to ask if anyone has raised private funds for real estate investing.
I started doing that and offering my investors 15% annually or 18% of net profit share, whichever is greater. Also I secure their loan with a lien and being in the first spot. And the couple that I offered to jumped on that offer. So the question is. Is that a fair amount? And if this was offered to you would you take it?
