RMC and paying sales tax
I will be purchasing an efficiency motel next month in Indiana and the seller told me today I would have to file for an RMC and have to pay 7% sales tax each month on rent collected. The question I have is:
Is there a way around the RMC since it will be ran as a rental?
I currently have rentals that are on a weekly basis and do not have to pay state sales tax.
Thanks for your help!
