Looking to open an SDIRA

I've got some funds I'm looking to deploy into rental properties.  Everything is currently in my Fidelity account so I'll need to roll them over but need to find a good custodian.  I've been recommended Equity Trust but that's really it.  Does anyone have any experience with them?  Can anyone recommend a custodian that they use and have a good experience with?

This will need to be an inherited IRA so I'll be taking annual (at minimum) withdraws from the account. My thought is something with "checkbook control" but I'd rather have the custodian handle all of the transactions so I don't screw anything up.
