Grant Deed with County (CA) Trigger Property Reassessment?

I'm adding my brother to the property deed through a grant deed.  I purchased this property back in 2011.  My name will still remain on the property deed now will this recorded deed with the County trigger a property tax re-assessment?  The value of this property has doubled and would hate to see the property tax doubled.  The property is in Ventura County, California. Please advise.

@Peggy Liu  the OP should have had his property reassessed and the property reappraised to the current market value for the percentage of the property that was deeded to the brother.  The percentage that remained with the OP would not be reassessed.

There is, in CA, an exemption for parent - child and grandparent - grandchild property transfer so you will need to put this information on the form at the recording office.   They generally have the form in a display rack so you can pick it up.  The clerk will tell you what forms should be turned in with the grant deed and there is a fine if you do not turn in the forms within a certain time frame.  Mark that it is parent - child transfer and you are exempted from a reassessment.  The county assessor's office likely will contact you and ask for a birth certificate with your name and your parents and possibly a marriage certificate or name change certificate if you changed your name.
