Avoid property withholding tax
I live in California. I want to transfer a property under my own name to my LLC to avoid CA withholding tax when I sell it. The county said that if the LLC 's owner is the same as the property owner, then there is not a city transfer tax. But the LLC is formed by me and my husband, so will i encounter city transfer tax? Thanks !
