Mating renters with apartment owners..
My first post here on the forum. Hello everyone!
I have a question. The short story, I have an opportunity that can allow me to actively approach individuals looking to find a apartments. I was thinking of the following business idea:
I want to search my local area for apartment complexes that have unusually high vacancy rates and offer a service to them. Basically, I would find them a lessee for a small fee. I was thinking 2-3% of their rent payments for the first lease period.
My question is this.. would it be legal for me to provide such a service without having any type of real estate license? I figured that there wouldnt been, since I am basically just doing some marketing for the apartment complexes. But I thought I would check around anyway. Any answers or advice regarding this topic would be very helpful.
