Arizona EIN LLC Husband and Wife Multi vs Single Member
My wife and I live in Arizona (a community property state) and created an LLC where we are both equal members. I was going onto the IRS website this morning to get an EIN and one of the questions was:
You are husband and wife residing in a community property state and the only two members of a Limited Liability Company (LLC).
Under Revenue Procedure 2002-69, you have the option of treating the LLC as a
multi-member LLC or as a single-member LLC.
The question is which one is correct for the sake of Taxes. We currently file married joint return.
Thanks.
