LLC doing business in another state

Hello,

Before I go down the road, I want to run this by you guys for advice.

I want to file an LLC in NH, however, it will be doing business in MA (purchases, rehabs, rentals, etc).

Are there any tax complications or legal complications?

I do have a mailing address in NH so it would be much easier for me to go through NH. The state filling fee is also cheaper in NH.

Thoughts?

You will have to register it in MA as a foreign entity and will effectively pay twice for set up and maintenance fees. Why do you want it in NH if you are going to be doing business in MA?
