Taxes for my single member LLC

Tax question for accountants, CPAs, or anyone that has knowledge on tax law:

My LLC was formed late in 2015. Before the entity was officially formed, I had expenses that went toward my real estate business (RE courses, marketing materials, etc) that I paid for out of pocket. Are my personal expenses that went toward my RE business still deductible for the LLC? I'm not sure what all can and should be included as expenses on my schedule C or if anything else should be done differently since the entity was formed so late in the year.

CPA or not, any and all advice would help tremendously!!
