Working with IRA Investors

To those that have experience using their IRA to invest in real estate, did you use a real estate agent to facilitate the transaction? If so, what were your takeaways? Was there anything that the agent did/didn't do that would have made the transaction run a bit smoother?

For the agents out there that have worked with this type of financing...what are some things I need to be aware of? Are there any good resources for an agent looking to work with this type of investor?

Thanks in advance!
