Subleasing FHA Mortgage
I have a home that I've been living in for 5 months with an FHA Loan and was thinking about renting out one of my spare bedrooms while I still live there.
I know the FHA requirements is that the home must be owner occupied within 60 days and be the owner's primary residence for at least 1 year which would not allow for renting out the whole house.
However, would it be legal to rent out 1 of the bedrooms while I still lived there even though I have lived here for less than a year?
