Wholesaling as a foreigner

Hello Attorneys on BP!

Is it legal to wholesale a deal (either assign the contract or double close) in the USA as a foreign country resident or is it a must to form a business entity first?

I know buying and holding a property is possible and legal. I also know that wholesaling in my own name is probably not the most optimal or professional way to do, I'm just curious if it works.

Thanks!
