IRA questions

Hello there everybody-

I have two questions I would like to ask and hopefully I get some good feed back, thanks in advance!

1. I know the max. contribution to an IRA account for 2008 is $5,000 unless you are over the age of 50 (where they allow you $1,000 for every year you are over 50), Am I limited to that same amount if I have multiple IRA's?

2. How many people are allowed to contribute to one single IRA account?

3. Are only immediate family allowed to contribute to the IRA account?(husband, wife, son, daughter, etc.)

4. does anyone know what the typical min. APY for and IRA account and the max. APY for an IRA account?

Thanky you for your time everyone!
