Negotiation of short sales considered the practice of Law?

I am an attorney in NC/SC with a very active Loss Mitigation and REO practice, which covers the whole state. Last month I closed 10 Short Sales and about 20 REO deals.

I advise many real estate brokers who are negotiating with the banks... In our states the Bar has not decided whether this constitutes the practice of Law.

WHAT ARE YOU SEEING IN YOUR AREA??? I WANT TO BE ABLE TO ADVISE MY BROKERS BASED ON NATIONWIDE TRENDS.
