Property Management LLC

Hi,

I'm planning on flipping my first house this summer with a friend and we decided to set up an LLC to help protect our investment. Through legalzoom I created an LLC with "Property Management" in the title of the name. After the fact of submitting the information to legalzoom, who then filed with the state, we were told (by a real estate agent) that if we have "Property Management" in the name of our LLC, we would have to be licensed.

I tried looking up information at Ohio.gov to see if I could confirm this, but wasn't able to figure it out. I did read some forums that stated we would only need licensed if we were to be dealing with other peoples property - something we don't plan on doing.

Basically my question is this: do we need to be licensed in the state of Ohio if we have "Property Management" in the title of our LLC?

Thanks a bunch,

Anthony
