Whats the cost of title confirmation

I bought a property that was sold by a trust that secures tax lien property. I was in the process of getting title insurance and in the abstraction we realized the trust had never preformed the confirmation of title. She told me their attorney did them for $2000 to $3000 . Is this a fair price for such an action?
