If a Cost Segregation Study had not been performed on this $1,300,000 small office space located in Kentucky, it would have had first year depreciation of approximately $32,723. Thanks to the Cost Segregation Study, the property investors were able to reclassify the property into the following categories to accelerate the depreciation:
