Funding downpayment with international money

Hi all! I am looking to start my real estate journey but I live in an expensive area so if I’d want to put a decent downpayment I would need help from my parents. For all purposes they live and work outside of the US. So what would be the best way to pay the least amount possible in fees and taxes for them to send me the money to the US so I can purchase real estate here? Thanks!
