City illegally telling me I have to shut down air bnb?

I have 2 properties I have been running for 2 years, I’ve made this my full time job. I got a letter a few weeks ago from the city saying I was to shut them down immediately. I read through all ordinances and learned a lot about zoning during this process, and I believe what they are doing is illegal, and that I am in a zoning area that allows short term rentals, without needing a “conditional use permit” although I am no lawyer and this is all new to me…

if anyone is able to help me out and answer a few questions I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Ashley
