Property Tax Solutions? Scam or legit?

Brian Malig
Posted

I live in Niles, Illinois and my parents pay a good amount of property taxes every year. I got a mail that says I should have this company  appeal for my taxes and save over $2000 every year in property tax. Is this legit or just some scam mail?
"Tax appeals pay off. You will save upwards of $9 for every $1 you pay in fees"
"We'll fight to save you $[x amount] over the next 3 years"

No way is it a scam @Brian Malig.  I believe Niles is still in Cook county and even though it isn't in Chicago it is definitely worth appealing the taxes.

The company we use will do it for 25% of the savings and we appeal the taxes every year.  I'd just do some due diligence and make sure you find a solid company that you'd want to work with repeatedly.
