Noob Question: Reporting rental income from Zelle
Context: I am currently house hacking a duplex, renting out the second unit for 1k /month while living in the other.
How would I report rental income that I receive through Zelle?
I will hire a notary to help with doing my taxes, but I still want to have a rough idea on how this is done for landlords.
And I assume having a longer record of income from a rental property will help securing a second home loan down the line?
Thanks guys
