incomplete sellers agreement

Heidi Joy
Posted

I recently bought a home and had an agreement that the seller had to fix anything that they had repaired that went wrong during the 90 days. 30 days in, part of my roof leaked and they had it repaired. 70 days in, another portion of my roof began to leak and they refused to fix it. When I went and looked at the sellers agreement, they left the section related to the roof blank and did not state if it was leaking or not. I know the people who I had purchased the roof from had done work on the roof since part of it was missing when they had purchased it. Could I be entitled to compensation for a new roof since they did not disclose issues with the roof prior to purchasing the home?
