Stock option to employee

Les Cullen

I would like to give my longtime accountant some company stock (C Corp). she can sell at retirement. It looks like I can do this without her having to pay taxes until she exercises the option. Then she can sell.

@Les Cullen

Are you public company or private?

One thing we are looking at for our team is whole life policies with high cash value do employees and if they stay x years we xfer them the policies. For time being it’s an asset of company then after they have the tenure it can xfer to them and they pay a tax on the delta but it acts as a nice bonus they can cash out or let it keep accruing at about 4% per year
