Purchasing property using equity in a company

Is it possible to purchase a property by transferring equity in a company? I have ownership in a real estate investment company that owns a 2 story commercial property. I’d like to divide and purchase the second story of the building by giving up some of my equity in the company. Is this possible and what are my options?
