New York Wholesaling - Out of State contracts with NY LLC

DJ Baker
Posted

Hi all. Quick question. May seem silly but wanted to know if anyone is doing this and can answer for me.
I have a NY LLC (S-Corp) and I recently started to explore Wholesaling only to learn that New York is an attorney state and it is more complex here. Bit of a bummer as a newb, but meh
My question is...if I do out of state deals with both buyer and seller outside of New York, am I bound by any of the NYS laws because my LLC is in NY? If I am I would just look to get a new LLC out of state to save the hassle.

I would appreciate any feedback.
