Workers comp / General Liability insurance

Adrian Carr
Posted

I close on my first STR next week!! Should I be asking for proof of certificate of insurance AND a workers comp insurance along with a valid license from my general contractor?

What if the license is valid but for a different state than the property is located? Will that make the certificate of insurance and workers comp insurance invalid?

Is a standalone general liability insurance sufficient held by the GC (i.e no workers comp insurance)?
