Create "Doing Business As" for rental property

Hi all,

I'm new to BiggerPockets and real estate investing. I'm reposting my question since my first post wasn't displaying properly.

I'm currently living in Seattle and have a house in Texas that is tenant occupied. I would like to register for a "Doing Business As" to have a professional business name. Does anyone know which state I should register this DBA with, Texas or Washington? Can I use this DBA in the Landlord name data field of the lease contract? Thanks in advance.
