I am personally trying to obtain financing for a primary home. We have good down payment, decent credit, great job but can't get financing through traditional means due to a short sale on some investment land that went belly up. Tried portfolios lenders, but they are flowing Fannie Mae guidelines, leaving us stuck. Any suggestions on other financing options?
