Mortgage Lending Question

Best mortgage lender for an FHA loan on my first duplex? I have good credit. I live in Washington State. Should I work through a mortgage broker? Are they worth it? Thanks in advance!

@Kristofer Ramos  you have some good suggestions already and I would absolutely advise you to take a local, recommended lender.  For example, when you work with a realtor, that realtor should already know a good lender to recommend to you.  Interview a few for sure.  Feel them out.  Trust your instinct.  If one is taking a while to get back to you with answers....that might be an indication of how your loan will go when it's being processed. Even then though it might be hard to know for sure until you are a few weeks in to the process....so leaning on someone else, who has ALREADY worked with someone is my advise.  Bigger Pockets has some great state forums and usually there are good locals that monitor those. Try posting in there as an idea.  But go local.  That’s the best bet.
