Trying to Secure financing

Alright Bigger Pockets, i need your help getting creative. Here is the situation, im trying to secure financing for a property. Actually two properties. One plot, two individual houses. I reached out to my VA guy because the VA also looks at 1-4 units as a primary residence/FHA. Two individual houses seems to be a no go. Im not trying to put down 20%. Any suggestions?
