Seeking options to refi to remove co-borrower

John James
Posted

Hi Everyone,

I own a condo along with my sister.  She has decided to buy more investment properties and would like to remove her name from my property.  I live in the condo and sometimes rent out the spare room.

She co-signed with me as I am self employed and write off a lot of my income.

I currently owe $240k on a condo worth about $340k.  I have another $75k liquid I could put towards the home if necessary.

My credit is about 750.  Never miss payments.  Income is around $50-$60k / year.

Do I have any options?  Appreciate anyone who has read my post!
