Creative financing help for self employed

Tony P.
Posted

I'm a 1099 contractor.

I won't be able to show income untill I fill my 2020 returns. I'd like to purchase a property however I won't be able to get a loan until I file. Are there any strategies I could use  with a seller to essentially bridge the gap of a few months before I am able to get the loan. Ie. Cash payment to seller plus cover the mortgage until my loan is approved.

Thanks in advance for any insight

Tony
