Credit reporting forbearance

Does anyone kkow the affect of non reporting to credit agencies due to forbearance?

I kkow banks can't report the non payments, but what about lack of reporting affect?

I have seen language banks have used such as "credit reporting agencies may consider whether there is an increased credit risk due to lack of reporting. We are uncertain as to the impact in your credit score, particularly if you are current on your mortgage or otherwise have good credit"
