Seller Financing and how to approach it

So I was super Interested In the idea of seller financing as a creative way to get into my first property. I'm just starting my research on the topic and how it works. Would anyone suggest a good ways to attack doing it and have further information on the details of how exactly it works? How do you propose it to the owner?
