Reverse mortgage

I received a phone call from a gentlemen who wants to sale his mother's property. The mother passed away and the prop has a reverse mortgage. The son is unable to obtain a loan, and there is no equity in the property. The bank is willing to take less than what is owed but still no equity. I would like to assist but not too sure what options I have to offer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
