Obtaining HELOC Question
Hello community,
My wife and I are interested in obtaining a HELOC on our primary residence, which is in both of our names. The mortgage is in my name. The purpose would be for obtaining an investment property. I would like to get the HELOC in my wife's name, however, she currently does not have an income as she stays home with the kids. Is this possible? For HELOCS, do they look at personal income or family income?
