Line of credit on an investment property in Austin, TX

John Barr
Posted

Hello,

Is anyone aware of banks in and around Austin, TX that allow you to take out a line of credit on an investment property? This is the only home I own and we lived in it for almost 3 years before beginning to rent it out. Our current mortgage company said these don't exist in Texas. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

@John Barr

There was a good BP thread on this that started a couple years ago. Check out the whole discussion here.
