Dear all, I’m a Belgian Real Estate Broker working for Cushman & Wakefield (in Belgium), and I would like to invest in Real Estate in the US. I’ve been going to the US every year since I was little, and would like the opportunity to invest there. Is there someone who could help me figure out how this could be possible? Let’s say i have about 100.000$ to invest. - can i get financing in the USA? - how much money will i have to pay as a down payment? - do i need to consult a Belgian bank with ties in the US - i read this could cause immigration problems / ESTA refusal / etc. ? Why am i even considering this? Investing in real estate in Belgium isn’t nearly as profitable. You pay 200.000 Euro +11% tax for a 550 sq f apartment u can rent out at 450 euro a month... (and this in the smaller cities) I am new and would immensely appreciate all the help i can get! Thank u in advance, Clem
