What is the best bank to get a HELOC should I go to a major bank, credit union, or online (lending tree, etc)?

it can be little difficult.... think wellsfargo will do them but has some restrictions. Also Pen-Fed will do them too. You could also talk to local credit unions might be a good chance to improve or build a local relationship if you're looking for more than just the HELOC.
