Hello BP community! I am so excited to announce that my wife and I will be moving to Portsmouth, VA next year. We are currently looking to buy our first house with the idea of implementing the BRRRR/house flipping strategy. We are very interested in contacting anyone familiar with the area. And are especially looking for mentors in the real estate investing area. Specifically, what are good areas to live in that are close to the naval medical center in Portsmouth, VA? Does anyone have familiarity with the physician loan? We plan to live there for 4 years with the hopes of buying a duplex/a SFH with an additional MIL unit to rent out. How do you go about financing rennovations? Any advice/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
