Lending or Joint Venturing in TX
Seeking advice on how to fund a commercial Borrower in TX when I am not a NMLS licensed mortgage broker / banker in my state (AZ) or in TX. Borrower has solid collateral. Are we required to enter a joint venture vs a standard 1st position Deed of Trust agreement? Do I need to run my funding "through" a NMLS licensed lender in TX for some sort of fee? Advice sought and appreciated. :-)
