Biz credit cards Best Corp Structure
Hi,
I have been self employed as a sole proprietor my whole life. Looking to use business credit cards as a way of keeping any debt off my personal credit and of course hopefully increasing the amount of capital I may have access to.
Can I simply apply without a company but just as sole proprietor with EIN number? Or is it better to apply (and get) an llc? And if I get an llc it will look like I have no prior business experience (seasoning) would that hurt my chances of approval and Or amount they qualify me for?
I have heard of folks buying seasoned corps for that reason. But would prefer to apply as a sole proprietor using my years of experience without having to deal with setting up corp along with costs associated.
Any thoughts? To apply for business credit cards (personally guaranteed but not reporting to my personal credit report). I have all 3 bureaus above 790 credit scorers.
Btw anyone know of any banks or credit unions who do credit lines without tr's or 4506?
Thank you in advance!!
Susan
