Parents need help getting a land loan

My parents Want to get a Loan for land. it is under 50k but despite my father having decent credit( they require over 700 for all 3 scores and 1 of his is over 700 while the others are high 600's) they denied him the loan. I want to help them but I'm not sure how. does anyone know any options that they  can use? I really want to help them and I know you guys are experts on this kind of thing so any help would be appreciated
