Structuring an LOC with SFR portfolio for acquisition capital

I'm talking to several banks for an LOC for acquisition capital.

Looking to connect with people who may have used their rental property portfolio as 1st lien or 2nd lien to get an LOC. Some local banks have been able to give good rates and terms, but some are requiring extra cross-collateralization with stocks and personal guarantee.

The LOC is meant as a low cost way to get acquisition capital on an as needed basis. Let me know if there are ideas around better structuring an LOC. Or to avoid an LOC altogether.
